It's about freakin' time. I really hope one of my cingular stores gets it tomorrow... that would make my crappy week so much better.

Sad, the V3i has to feel like Tom Hanks in "Cast Away". Like Helen Hunt, I just gave it up for dead and moved on. And after he put in so much work to get off that island... er, I mean after they put so much work into getting the phone out. I'm on to drooling over the KRZR.

i called cingular's customer service (611). They said it wont' be coming out for a long time.

It is due out this week. We received our live demo phone late last week, and we're scheduled for a delivery tomorrow and wed.

Just called my Cingular store... pushed back until September. What the heck...

Yep, this phone has been delayed AGAIN! Pushed back to early September. My guess, the phone will be dropped for one of the UMTS phones!!

This was confirmed by a couple of locations in the San Francisco area on Saturday, but at least they are expecting it, which is movement. But, as several people have said, the replacement for this phone is already about to come out.
My question is... Why does this keep happening with Cingular? The V3i, the W810i, I remember waiting for the V635 a very popular phone that was designed for Cingular but never came out through them.
Has this problem ever been discovered by the tech media? Does anyone know why this keeps happening?
