Can anyone tell me how to set up the phonebook to have multiple number entries under the same name?

Yes,

Just add the numbers by selecting "edit" when you pull up a contact's name. Then click on "more" and enter the new numbers. "More" is how you enter additional numbers, during initial add or editing a name and number. The cool thing is you can set up your phone book to only "display" one number for each person - so you don't have to scrool through a million number. Just go to "setup" under phonebook, then select "primary" under "view." Just make sure you select which number you want to be the "primary" number for each person, to get the one you want displayed.

Let me know if I wasn't clear enough. I'm kind of in a hurry right now.
