In order to accomplish this with Xpress mail do I HAVE to have my actual computer turned on and running back at work? Xpress mail is just like the Blackberry or any other desktop redirector. You have to have your desktop on to receive your mail. It will only forward e-mails in your Inbox so if you have different sub folders with rules that sort your mail only the mail that stays in your inbox will be forwared to your phone. It will allow you to delete your e-mail on your phone and it will delete it out of your outlook as well. It forward the mail very quickly. For a free program it works really well.

Wrong. For the Redirector it does for the full fledged Blackberry enterprise server it doesn't. The server costs about $4,000 to buy. The redirector that comes with the blackberry itself is free.

i'm starting to the the 2125 may be a better phone for my needs. i only wanted the 8125 for wifi but it looks like with the 2125 i can hook it up to my laptop and use it as a modem on the $19.99 data plan with xpress mail. that would suit my needs in a pinch and give me a smaller phone for day to day use.
