Ok here's my deal.. i got the v3c 20 days ago and desperately want a newer one with the .03 software installed. The only way I can do this is to convince tech support that my phone is defective so they can replace it with a new one. Whats the best thing to say? need help guys! Let me know thanks

Why dont they just flash it for you to the .03 software? Not sure where your located but the Verizon store near me in boston has the .03 software and will flash the phone for customers for free. Takes about 10 minutes he said. I havent done it since I have not had any issues with the .02 software yet.. thanks

You could tell them a number of things, but they will only give you a refurbished phone and it may not have the .03 software either.

Agreed. The new software does not fundamentally affect the exsistance of the universe. Keep your panties on and wait for the store to get the software so you can keep your NEW phone and have the new software.

Just remember, if you get a new phone with .03 or get your phone flashed to that, you won't be able to use Mobile Phone Tools to transfer ringtones or photos.

I got my Razr from Costco and it had software version .03 on it. 😢
