file size limit, text ringers
what is the size limit when sending ringers through text. Is it like 256? phone will not open some of the bigger ones. Is their an easy non paying way around this limitation?

I think most are using Motorola Phone Tools to make custom ringtones for free, which is SWEET might I add 😛. This requires the USB cable to connect a V3c to PC and the MPT software.
I haven't gotten an exact size limit when I send a tune attached to a pix message but I know I can't attach a 226Kb file, which is close to a minute of music. I have been able to send 125Kb or about thirty two seconds of music, no problem. I've noticed a good ringtone is only about 20-23 seconds long.
Don't ask about the Motorola Phone Tools a.k.a. Mobile Phone Tools as there have been many threads started here before.. just use the search feature. 😉
