I know girls who would completely disagree with you. Most girls I know couldn't wait for the T-Mobile Pink RAZR and when it came out in that magenta color, they ran the other way. They all wanted this light pink that Verizon issued.

It looks great... just as the VZW customer service rep described it. My 15 yr.old daughter is pretty excited, as is my wife! This is exactly what they've been saying the magenta one should have looked like. Did you all notice the KEYBOARD on it? Look close. Nice job Verizon!!! I'm calling in my order for two right now.

You're able to discern that I'm bitter and lonely from one comical statement I made about the price.
I was just making an observation that they're charging $50 more for the EXACT same phone in a differnet color...espcially since the grey phone was released just a month ago.
Is it discrimination againsat women???...maybe...but they'll be getting an extra $50 from me anyway since I prefer the pink over the grey.
And for those males who are in touch with their feminine side and want the pink...then I'm sorry for you guys too since you'll have to pay $50 more.

actually the reason for the price diff is that verizon bought fewer pink units from motorola..so moto didn't give them as good of a price on the phone...so that extra cost went directly to the customer

First off "hope621", perhaps you should go back and re-read what I posted. I NEVER said that you personally were "bitter and lonely". I am however making an informed observation by saying that in today's society many men have been neutered in a way that makes it very tough for single women, many of whom are my friends, to find a real man and have a decent relationship.
As for your comments about me, I really don't care. I am truly blessed to be with the woman of my dreams for 26 years + counting and I truly treasure every day that we have together.

No the screen doesn't stay red all the time, you can change that to whatever you want. But there is a red line on the top and bottom of the internal/external dispaly. I love the pink lights on it but I don't like the look of the pink against the red.

I'll have to agree with you this time, JENI729. Even though the RAZR didn't work for me, I think the pink is cool, but I am anal about everything matching and I too wouldn't like to have those red bars against the pink. It would have been cool if they have to be there if they would have made them pink for this phone!

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I have seen some people talking about the Pink RAZR having pink backlighting. I saw it at Beset Buy today and the backlighting is actually blue. The strips of rubber in between the keys are pink, but when the backlighting comes on, it's the same as the other RAZR.
But I guess maybe since pink and blue make purple, maybe the light would look more purple??? couldn't really tell because it was so bright in the store, but just a thought. Anyway, just thought I'd clear that up because I was really interested when I thought the backlighting was pink!
