Everyone should check their lifetime data counter

I just got the RAZR on Monday 12/26. I checked my minutes used on the VZW website and it said I used approx 400 peak minutes. There is no way that I did that. I checked the counters on my phone and it said I have 6:27 of lifetime data usage. There is no way I used the data features that much. I did a little mobile web and a little browsing on GIN, but certainly not 6 hrs worth.

I called VZW and they cant do anything until they can see an invoice, after your billing date.

I just wanted to alert you and please post if you are having the same problems....

Thanks
Mark

I am a VZW employee and I am getting the same issue. When I view my Data Timer, it is showing 9 hours of Data. I am sure I did not use this many minutes of data because I have a Demo Phone that I do not pay for. I noticed it when I checked my MOU on my RAZR. It was more than usual. I contacted my EPP and advised them. They told me to take it to a tech at VZW. I took it there tonight and dropped it off. My buddy in California is a VZW employee and he is having the same issue. I will post an update once I pick up my RAZR tomorrow.....(If this issue is not fixed, I am getting rid of this phone!) Besides this issue, this phone is great!!

I have a friend who is having the same problem. He got his bill and it was showing data calls of 90 minutes (several of them) when he never used any data. Please keep us updated on what happened with your phone after you brought it in to vzw. Sounds like the Razr will be off the market for a while once vzw gets enough people complaining about this.

I got my phone back and they could not do anything. They told me that they could not duplicate the problem. GO FIGURE.....anyways I will wait until my bill drops to dispute the airtime charges

I just got my bill, and while my "Lifetime Data Counter" says 5h 6m 6s, there was no evidence of any kind of data charges on my bill. I guess the next step would be to add up the individual minutes and see if they jive with the total minutes billed.

If you have the V Cast feature, you will not be billed. I just received an email and VZW is aware of the issue and should be crediting any airtime charges due to this issue.

i dont know if anyone else noticed this but i just got the phone on thursday and i am unable to change the ev to 1x then when i go to the v3c razor on the phone specs on phonescoop it says under ev that it has a function that has the data always on, im wondering if that it the problem with the razor that it has that function and it just stays on like the pda phones and you have to turn it off, i think that might be the problem because i hardly used the phone yesterday and im charging the phone right now, dead battery as of last night this phone is going back
