Did you know how when you make a phone call on the exterior screen it says Verizon, T, or The cingular logo. I was wondering when I see the stars on the phone it has the Motorola M , What service do they have? The star I was wondering has the V3 GSM version. But what service does she have when it only says the "M" on the outside?

The US Cellular and Alltel versions of the RAZR have the moto bat wings on the external display while on a call.

Is there a way you can do this with the Verizon version??
I would like that compared to the verizon symbol. Thanks

i dont think there is a way because verizon programmed the phone to their specifications, in turn making the verizon symbol show during a call.

What do you mean by a hack? Would you have to reflash the phone and change it then?

By hack he is talking about editing the seems of the phone. In other words editing the hex codes. I would not recomend doing this if you don't know what a hack is, you can easily turn your phone into a paper weight by editing the wrong seem. Do some research and decide for yourself if you think you can hack your phone. And if you do good luck

its not worth it to me. unless you know what youre doing, and can fix stuff on your own, youre putting your phone in serious jeapordy...unless of course, money is not an option to you.

As soon as another version of firmware is flashed or any kind of hack is on your phone, verizon clearly states that they do not support it and will not replace anything even if you have insurance.

good luck if you do, there are reliable sources out there with solid hacks, but I was never willing to take any chances.

don't really need a 'hack', you need bitpim, a mini usb cable, and a new pic, no seem edit required. hofo has alot on this...

ahh cool, if its as easy as swapping a pic file that would be easy 🙂

I still need to get MPT so I can transfer files - maybe then Ill do it.

I work a little with graphics and can make some sick ones if anyone is interested...all types of sleek motorola ones etc.. Ill let you guys know if I ever get around to it, heh.
