To change the speed dials, go to the Main Menu, that should take you right to the screen labeled "Contacts". Option 4 is Speed Dials. This will list you contacts in order of speed dial address. In order to move them around, you just highlight the number you want to free up and press the menu button which is the "move" key, follow the prompts. Then go to the contact that you want to assign to the now empty space and move that one too.

As for Voicemail, I had to save it in my Contacts and assign it to speed dial "1". I saved the number as *68(p)(your password)#. (p) stands for inserted "pause" which you choose on the options screen. Now when you press and hold the "1" key it will call VM. This does not work when you dial VM from the ...

First you have to clear out speed dial #2 so you can put Kathy in. Go to the speed dials menu, scroll to #2, at the bottom of the screen you see "move". Press the middle
button and the screen will jump to the next empty speed dial. The option at the bottom of the screen now says "set". press the button. You have now free'd up speed dial #2 to put Kathy in there.

As for the pause, you don't type in the letter "p". Dial the number *86, now press the right menu botton and choose "Insert Pause", now enter your password followed by the pound sign (#) and press the left menu button to save it in your contacts.

Bringing back an old thread...Sorry about that.

My problem is I have over 500 contacts in my phone, and MPT assigned all 500 speed dial spots. Is there a way to delete a number off the speed dial list? Moving is not an option apparently.

Comment: I think the sequence is as follows:
*86pp#1234 where *86 is the number dialed, pp is two pauses ( I had to use pause twice )(remember, use PAUSE, do not type the letter "p") the # to break the break the voice mail message and then 1234 where 1234 is your actual password.
