No Razr Complaints

After reading most of the threads in this section, I feel like the exception and not the rule. My son and I got our Razr's on Saturday. We are perfectly content. I don't do pictures/video on my phone, I don't want to listen to music on my phone and the UI seems to work fine for us. It pairs fine with my Lexus and my Plantronics Discovery 640 earpiece.

Sure, I wish that it was tri-mode, but, I knew going in that it would not be.

I am not saying that people's "complaints" are not valid or that their desires for the phone are not important, but for me, I am old school (using cell phones for over 21 years now) and just want a phone to make and receive calls. I am so "old school" that I just bought my mom a refurbished V60. She too just wa...

Well,
some of us do more than just make and recieve calls...and for me this phone was no where near the ease of use of my LG 8000. I'm not saying its a bad phone, but if you want to use your phone for a variety of reason, I dont think this is the best phone for that.

I completely share your point of view. I have been using cell phones for 20 years and they keep doing more and more and more. My last phone was a Treo 650, and it did everything. Granted it didn't do it well all the time, but it did everything but wash my car.

I recently decided that I just wanted to have a phone again that I could fit in my pocket. The Razr is perfect! What do I care that the menu isn't as extensive as some would like?

It's a solid phone that hasn't locked up, unlike my Treo. It pairs up with my Acura Handsfree, unlike my Treo. The UI is simple and straightforward.

I Like it a lot. Here's to "old school".

After years of carrying a separate blackberry and phone I decided to go to one device. So I went with the 7250 Blackberry. At the end of the day it was a GREAT email device but terrible phone. No fault of Verizon, it was just meant primarily for email. Though I thought about getting the new 72 series of Blackberry, I really missed having a separate phone and blackberry.

My only "disappointment" per se has been that since the Razr and the Blackberry use mini usb charger port, I thought that one charger would work with both, thus lessening my travel weight. In the end, no big deal.
