Menu options while on a call

I was playing around with the 950 at the circuit city today and noticed that when i was using the phone to make a call I could not go into the rest of the menu options. (right soft key (options) > messages > then using the right and left arrow keys to go to the other menus such as settings & tools and get it now. I ask this because it seems that the user would not be able to access the games on the phone while using the phone with a hands-free set. Nor would it allow the user to look at the calendar or set an alarm while on a call.

Was this a glitch with the phone I was playing around with or are all the phones like this?

Thanks in advance!
Monica

On my 8100 there are many things that dont work while you are in call. It sucks but its a limitation we can't do much about...

I am not talking about the things that you cant do while on a call. I am talking about looking at the menu options. For example (again) if I want to play a game while I am on the call I can hit the right soft key (options) > OK > Left 1 time > 3 > and then select my game. Same way with looking at the calendar and alarms. I am not talking about looking at mp3s or ringers etc. On my 8100 I can look the actual MENU ITEMS (Get It Now, Messaging, Contacts, Recent Calls, and Settings & Tools)

So I ask my original question...

Can you do this with the 950? The phone that I played with at Circuit City you could only look at messages, recent calls and a couple other things but I could not scroll side to side to the other menus.

Thanks,

It seems as though the only things you can do while on a call is send a text message, and browse the contact list. I'm also disappointed the calendar and other tools are unavailable.

That is what I thought. Thanks for trying it for me!
