Help me wid 8801

I just bought the 8801 and looks like that its giving me a hard time ... whenever i put my working sim card it boots up but then i dunno it shuts by it self .....


let me if i can put the new software in it ...

Hey,

First make sure that battery is fully charged (at least 16 hours the first time) and that the sim card is correctly inserted; the metal surface of the card should be facing down and to the left when you insert it.
If this does not fix the problem try swapping sim cards with a cell phone that is working correctly.
This will tell you if the problem is with you 8801 or your sim card. in either case you need to return them to your purchase point for exchange or warranty repair.

same thing happened to me....i have tmobile...so i brought the phone in and they gave me a new SIM card...now it works....good luck...
