Music Player Help!
I was supposed to have a 9800M However Verizon sent me a Regular 9800 instead(only found that out on my 3rd trip to Cust support). Now on my 3rd trip the tech said that if he flashes my phone with the latest hardware all my ringtones will not work anymore because they are in MP3 format. The phone will only read wma??? I have been using BITPIM to upload my ringtones. Is the Tech Right? Can someone who has gone thru this process give information otherwise.
Also if I get this to work. How do you guys upload songs to your phone?? Most of my music is in MP3 or ACC format.

you can open the phone press ok, press the 0 key, followed by 0 six more times, go down to music settings and you can set it to mp3 only which will allow you to play your mp3s like the old software and when you want to use Vcast music just switch it back to MOD

n o he is not right i just got my phone flashed on sat and all my ring tones work just as i put them on there
