unlimited txting?
does anyone know if verizon will be getting unlimited txting anytime soon?
it would be so much easier not having to worry about going over. i have the 2500 msgs a month and it still happens.

I believe they already have unlimited IN Network texting. You just pay like $10/month for 500 additional out of network messages to non-verizon phones. That's all.

You gotta pay to play. I'm not condoning the fact that they charge as much as they do for the services, but if you want the best service, you're gonna have to pay a premium. They gotta make some money somehow.
Put yourself in their shoes. Let's just say you are making (Round Numbers) a million dollars a year just off text messaging overages. Of course next year you want to make more money. Are you gonna give all your subscribers the option to text everybody as much as they want knowing that you might only make a quarter mil off the unlimited plan? Probably not.
