Problem with Videos in LG V

I had to make a new thread cuz the other one has too many replies.


I convert some avi, wmv and mpeg videos using the 3gp convertor...and they play good in the pc..

But in my cell phone they dont have any sound..


I use this settings:

3GPP+AAC General Setting.

QVGA Normal quality 15fps Stereo or Mono.


any suggestions?

also...i want to separet my ringotnes and my mp3s..can i make folders in the SD Card?

Ok never mind bout the videos...i had a wrong setting..

3GPP2+AAC General Setting instead of..
3GPP+AAC General Setting

Good job on figuring it out. I'm glad you can do that stuff now.

I would suggest not to make new folders on account that they probably won't work because the folders are made by verision and when they flash your phone it makes new folders and what not so I wouldn't touch the folders.

i have another question

I have some ringtones here as mp3s...so I put them on the mp3 folder right?

but it wont let me set them as ringtones

how can i put them in the Ringtones folder??

ok so after readin some posts i the howardforums..

to put Ringtones u need the data cable...

so im gettin one at ebay for 4$

this phone is great but its a hazzle to get all the cool features workin hehe

Yeah, you need a usb cable to put the ringtones on.

I just got this phone and it is great!! I used the 3GPP2+AAc converter and when I look at it on my Phone the voices and video are off like a sec or two is this normal?

No, that is not normal at all.

General: 3GPP+AAC
QVGA Normal quality 15fps Stereo

You used 3gpp2 so re download with the right setting and it will work.
