Backlight whilte on the phone

Is there a way to turn the backlight all the way off while on the phone? It dims but doen not shut off all the way after a bit like my old phone did. Also looking to do the same for the main screen while on speaker phone.

Well first it dimms then it goes black, but try this.

menu > setting & tools > Display > Backlight > main screen > always off > Clr > Front screen > always off.
