As far as I know you cant out a video on the phone. Im currently in the process of discover that out, but i figure due to the fact that it doesnt have a media player built in it wont work. However all you need for music is the MiniSD card. First you have to put the card in your phone and format it so it allows you to store the mp3's onto or in the Mp3 folder. Dont worry once you click on format you will see the folders im talking about. After you format the card, put the card into a card reader(sold seperately, about $20.00 @Bestbuy)and youll see the computer find the new hardware. click on that drive and you will now see the folders i was talking about. Open the Mp3 folder. Now simply drag and drop your music. once complete make sure you sa...

True the phone has no TRUE media player.. but it does play video VCAST..

Vcast videos are in the format of 3gp.

google 3gp converters. they allow you to convert most video files into 3gp which can be placed on the mini SD in the MY_Flix folder and then viewed by going to your flix onthe phone.

quality and A/v synch are the only problems ive run into but if you remember you watching it on a phone its ok.

I have converted DVD's and witha one gig card i am able to watch 2 dvds when ever i choose.

it all depends on what format you use.

divx codec 10 mins = 10Mb

theres also the factors of sound. what bit rate and Mhz you want. so some files are the same some smaller etc..

i use
Imtoo3g converter.

you will need a 1gig card to get a dvd on your phone

You can play movies on the phone. The format has to be ".3gp". You put them on the card under "MY_FLIX". You can then watch them on the phone.

You cannot directly import your videos and play them. You can import mp3's and play them. asking one question at a a time will help reduce confusion in setting up.

The mp3's can be transferd to the mp3 file on your mini-sd. The phone put the file on the mini-sd. The computer reads it as a removeable drive. If you have the interface to install into the computers usb port. Then you simply go to your computer and move your fav mp3's to that file on the mini sd. pop the mini sd with the mp3's into your phone and wall-ahh. open the menu seek tunes and tones/ mp3's on your phone and shazzam there they are. Play away.

Videos reqire a converter and if you do a search for video on this forum you will find the the correct methods to getting er d...
