You can put any pic you have in your phone on the outer display. There is an option in the phone to change the inner or Main screen and the outer screen. This is a good thing so you can apply caller pics for when the phone rings you can see the pic of the contact calling you.

I can't seem to get the front screen to have an entire picture on it. I always have white lines on the left and right. How can I put a pic on the front and not have those lines?

Change the resolution of your camera and take the pic or video again. I think that should work.

I took a pic on all the resolutions and none of them cover the entire front screen. I've toggled between the person option or the landscape option for type of picture... it still has the white lines down the sides. I don't get this.

Has anyone been able to get a picture on the front screen that covers the ENTIRE screen and doesn't leave white bars on the left and right? If so, please please help!

is there an option to center or stretch the image? it would be in the outer display settings by where you chose the pic you want to put there. On motos you can choose center or stretch/fit to screen. try that.

I don't see any type of option for that. I'm wondering if the problem lies in the fact that the inner display is a different shape than the front (different length to width ratios). However, if you take a pic using the front display and not opening it, the problem is actually worse.

what the heck is up?

I think that I had this problem at first to. I'm sorry that I didn't remember earlier but I believe that you are going to need to take the picture with the clamshell open. I don't know why this would matter but that's what worked for me. Hope this works

It definitely makes a difference in the picture size and the pic then fills the whole inside screen as a wallpaper... but still no luck on the front screen.

I have my camera set on the highest resolution (thought I've tried each resolution. I've toggled between the two picture type options on the back (the person or landscape). I've tried pics with the clamshell open and with it closed.

Any other suggestions? Lgrulz... does your pic cover the entire front screen with no bars at all? and if so, do you think you could check your settings and tell me what you have things set on?

I have the 8100 and my friend just got the 9800. I have a pic on my SD card that I use for the wallpaper on my front screen that covers the entire screen, but when I put the card into her 9800 and make the same pic wallpaper on her front screen, then theres those lines! I have a feeling that there is nothing that will change this.

I believe mary424 might be right. I'm sorry that I didn't try it before I posted! I do know for a fact that a video covers both screens fully, I just don't understand why the picture wouldn't.

If you had a data cable you could pull off one of the stock pic's and check the resolution and just make the photo's you want to use as wallpaper the same
