wireless sync question
Do you need a data plan to use the wireless sync for email feature on the 9800? Does it use evdo and/or does it just use minutes from your voice plan (like mobile web)?

You don't have to have a data plan on top of your voice plan if you don't want to. You can just go with the basic pay as you go feature. Usage would be billed according to your transfer etc. $0.15 per Kilobyte
