mms messages failing
i just got the phone, but i am an experienced cell phone user... anyway, every time i try to send an MMS to an email adress or phone number i get a message that says the sending has failed. can anyone explain this or give me some advice to get this to work... thanks.

sounds like your messaging configuration is messed up.
menu-messages-message settings-multimedia(picture)-config settings-configuration-***
check your entry there. it should match your carrier.

So, it should be on Cingular instead of Default? I am having the same problem sending mms messages to someone with a different carrier.

yea, switch it to cingular. that might be the problem. there is one config for web browsing (media net) and there is another for config for messaging. so if you have it set on default, you may have it set on the browser connection config.

If you are trying to send them to other carriers, that might be you problem. You have to make sure that your carrier (cingular) is able to send them to other carriers. I know that the can send/recieve between Verizon, but not sure about others. To test, try sending a MMS to yourself and see if it works. if that doesn't, try the opposite setting. Hope this helps.
