Nokia 6101 / 6102
Nokia 6102..Its out...But where?
I understand that according to this forum, that this phone is out and available for purchase. Awesome. But, I live in CT, and one store that I went to said it was going to be a month and a half, and that they have not yet received dummy phones. This seems to be the exactly opposite of what I have been reading on this website. So my question is, Where is the phone released? (I don't want market numbers, i want towns and states please.) And secondly, Is anyone in here From CT, and do you know when its coming around here? Thanks Everyone.

You can call the cingular sales department (1688cingular) to order, the phone with a new line, or an additional line, and cust care (18003310500) to upgrade to the phone

I called telesales and they said it was sopposed to come out today, but they pushed the date back AGAIN because of stock issues. He said that there are not a lot in stock so whatever Nokia did make of the 6102's the sent them to the stores first because they did not have a lot in stock for Cingular telesales to sale. And the Cingular Rep haven't even heard of the phone until I called and he talked to a person in telesales. I called a Cingular store and they said that they did'nt have the phones in the store but I could order one with them and have it delivered in two business days. So I think I'll do that. Oh by the way they said that all the stores did get the ones capatible for hearing aids, but not the regular ones YET 😉

I have a question about the 6102, it may be a silly question but Im not sure what it means so I dont need a smart butt answer just a normal one please, what does it mean on the phone book thing when it says shared memory rather than like 500? I know that means it holds up to 500 but the 6102 says shared memory. just curious. Thanks
