Nokia 6101 / 6102
6102/New plans/PTT
I am planning on changing from ATT to a Cingular 6102 ASAP.
I have a few questions,
1. does anyone know how the PTT works with the new plans? (how does PTT work with the minute usage?)
2. how will the basic single plans change Sept 1, would I be better waiting for the new single plan or trying to get one of the plans available before then as far as rollover minutes, N/W etc (assuming the 6102 is available in time) 😳

Feature just went live in the system wednesday. $9.95/ mon for unlimited PTT. No work on PTT in plans yet.

what i dont get is why anyone really needs this besides that its 'cool'. i mean i really want the 6102, but i have free mobile to mobile, and i think just about every cingular subscriber also does, so why would i pay more for another way to call only a small percentage of cingular subscribers...i dont have a problem with regular calling!

I personally will not be using PTT. I actually hate it probably because i work in a resturant and alot of ppl will use it inside while ppl are trying to eat and i dont need to be hearing how much yo babies daddy owes you...and if you really want everyone to hear your buisness use speaker phone
