how to send email?
I had a question for the two that already have this much anticipated phone... can you send email using the text messaging function? Sounds like a dumb questions, but my in-laws old phone wasn't capable of sending text messages via text messaging and they had to log onto mMode every time they wanted to send a text message email (even the crappy LG that my wife and i have right now has the ability to send emails via text messaging).

another question - have you *really* not found anything that you don't like about this phone? I miss having a Nokia (my first two phones were Nokia) and have been waiting for a Nokia clam shell for a while now...

Honestly, no. I really like this thing! The customizable "Go To" menu is very slick! I wish I had that years ago! I can change ring profiles or ring volume or bring up the camera in literally seconds! Couple of clicks - and done!
That's what I've always liked about Nokia! I've gotten so familiar with the menus and the functions that I can scroll around them without even looking most of the time!
You're really gonna like it! It has a very good feel. The hinge is very smooth and very tight. No "play" or slop in the movement. It's pretty tough too. I actually dropped it on the concrete garage floor today from about pocket level!! Not a scratch on it! I know - lucky!!! But it really does feel very solid and durable.

Yes you can send email via text messaging. Also, you can set up your email account on the phone so you won't have to send email by text. You can do it directly.
