I just went into Cingular and saw the cost spreadsheet and this phone will be $189.99 without a contract. It's not in the stores, but the say that it'll be in any day now. Hey, we've all heard that one before! Remember the Motorola MPX 220 and the Motorola A630. Hmm...

The only differences they are saying is:

Sounds about the same to me. Just different branding I guess.

The only difference between the two phones is that the 6101 is for T-mobile and the 6102 is for Cingular.
