well, i also just spoke with a cingular rep.
she said that there will be two new phones that will be released in August. She doesnt know which phones are going to come out, all she knows is that they are both going to be Nokia phones. She asked me to call them back next week, and they might know for sure, so ill try to find out. 😉 😁

Does any one know if Cingular will offer push to talk with the new Nokia 6101/6102, according to the specifications on phone scoops it says that the nokia will have speakerphone and also push to talk???? does any one have any idea about this. Further more does any one have an idea of the max capacity of the flash memory on this phone?

The DM in my area said that Cingular had no plans on using PTT at this time because it doesn't fit in with Cingular's plan of things for their wireless business. Yet, there are more and more phones that are being sold at Cingular that have the PTT feature. Hmm...

Hey guys, I'm a Cingular rep and so far, we don't expect to see PTT on any handsets. It looks like the 6102 will arrive in retail stores in the last half of August.

DREWSKI, Right now things are a little tightlipped even with our people. We've expected phones to be in our stores way before this and they have been held up for one reason or another...(corp. stuff). Anyway, we really don't know of sure dates on handsets yet but we want them in the stores so that we can get them out and into the publics hands. Sorry that I can't be more specific but that's all I have on launch dates.
