Nokia 6682 / 6681
Need your opinion...
Okay so Nokia is selling the Nokia 6682 for free with a 2 year contract with cingular... is this because its gonna cause all the problems that ive been reading about (white screening, deleting call log, freezing) or have they fixed these problems? Ultimately, should i get the phone from Nokia.com or not?
and one other question... my mother already bought a phone through cingular and is on a plan with my dad... if i get a family plan with the 6682, will they be able to join or will they have to pay some sort of fee? i dont know if any of you know about this but if you do, please respond. Thanks

You should have no problems with this phone from Nokia-the problems you are referring to were firmware issues that have been corrected-I bought this phone 3 months ago and I work for Cingular and have had none of those problems. As for your parents joining your plan-you can do that by doing a transfer of service to your account for both your mom and dad. The fee is 18 to do the tos(each line). If they cancelled and join yours-it would be an early termination fee of 150(or 175 if their contract is after 02/05/06). Hope this helps!
