One Drop = BROKE!

I dropped my SLIVR last night at a party and the glass crystal shattered. The good news is that I was able to pick all the glass out of the frame and the phone is still usable. My $50 deductable will come in handy but I am not pleased with the performance.

One drop? It fell from my hand as I pulled it out of my pocket. This was honestly the VERY first time I have dropped this phone in the few months I have had it.

I will be e-baying my replacement and sticking with my V551 until I can get my hands on a RAZR V3i

That's a shame. I dropped mine twice, once on our brick pateo, and once on the floor in our garage. Both times were face down. Nothing but a minor scratch on the side, no damage to the screen.

ive dropped mine many many times all from my car window to the concrete and its slides all over the place and the only damage i have is a couple scratchs on the out side and 1mm scratch on teh lens and that was from it sitting in my pocket with my keys

i thought that if i dropped it it would break first time

i dropped mine a couple times then once the back peice flew off i was like **** i bet its broked now lol but no problem just pop it back on and good to go

Well, I certainly wish that I had the same luck. I might also add that my phone cannot be replaced by insurance until I have had it insured for 30 days. (nice)

So I am stuck using my old phone (V551) which was good enough to break on me this past weekend.

damn phones

Why do I always have to have the newest thing?

Well its not a matter of someone telling me I "could" make a claim or place the insurance on the phone. Its clearly a matter that had insurance on my plan and I made a claim. Now I have a fedex package waiting for me at my office right now with my replacement phone contained inside.

If you want to insure your phone with Lockline:

Here is what I would suggest you "try". This is how I insured my phone. (it may be too late to trick them this way, but its worth a shot)

First call Cingular from a land line: 1-800-331-0500 and just "ask" if you have insurance on your PLAN. When they tell you no, then ask ...
