There is a restriction on this handset that only allows music to be played on a wired connection. The music will not play through a bluetooth connection even with Motorola's stereo headphones. It is a common miunderstanding that I have found that you can use bluetooth. Motorola intends for this to be possible but when itunes and carriers (cingular in this case) get involved certain features are removed and restrictions are applied. Unfortunate but true.

You can't use a bluetooth headset like a Motorola Headset HS850, you can use a Plantronics Pulsar 590A. It comes with a universal adapter witch plugs into the phone.
And the headset also pairs with the phone.
So the headset has two functions and you can plug the universal adapter to other things like a ipod. You can get it for around a 110.00
bucks at PCNation.com or do a search on the net. And Yes you can use the speaker phone to play music.

I have the Motorola SLVR L7 and the Plantronics Pulsar 590A love them both.

Hope This Helps.....

there is a way to do it. if you download a movie to your phone you can listen to the movie using a bluetooth earpiece. this is because themusic is converted to a 3pg file. so all you have to do is convert your music files into that format and then they will play with any bluetooth device. i used motorola tools 4.0 to convert the files . i went into multimedia and did the same thing i would have done to convert a vidio file. however insted of saving it onto my phone i saved it to MY COMPUTER. but you may be able to use any mp3 to 3pg conversion program. the file size is slightly smaller but that only means you can hold more song right!!! motorola tools doesnt transfer filers very well so i just drag and droped the file to my audio fo...
