Motorola SLVR L7

Making GPRS Work on this phone

I am trying to make GPRS work on the new
SLVR L7 I just bought. I entered all the settings
given at :

But I cant get the network working.
I just bought my phone from a cingular store.
Does anyone have this working ? Can someone
help me.

Also, what is the best pricing available on
this phone? I paid $169 with 2 year contract.
Anyone can get this phone any cheaper from
anywhere else? (Maybe UK?) I can see that
amazon is selling it for $50 after rebates
but it seems out of stock.

Any comments on better pricing than
cingular stores?

I get

Launching Browser...Connecting...Network Not available

2] What is the cheapest way to get
my emails to this phone (Any way without
paying extra every month?)

Not too sure why the phone is not connecting to the data network; may be something wrong with the settings, in which case, you might have to contact Cingular to find out what you should enter. As far as free email goes, well, once the data is up and running, if you access it without a data package, you'll be charged a per kilobyte rate. Unfortunately, there's no way around that, as it will always register you as being connected whenever you do so.

a cheap place to get it is from www.tigerdirect.ca. its $242.99 cdn and its unlocked.
