This is secondhand, but I've heard that the V635 is in fact not coming to cingular.
News originating from a moto rep, to a cingular rep I know, to me.
Take it however you want, but I went ahead and bought it unlocked already from a 3rd pary (TigerDirect) with a 256mb t-flash card.

Okay everyone I know we all want this kick@ss phone now, but all these "he said she said" and "I heard" info is all normal when a big product comes out, both companies do all this run around game to keep consumers on edge, if they weren't going to release it they probally would of said so already considering this is MOTO's big summer release phone,and they already said what phones have been discontinued operations and this is exactly what they did for the V600 last year, nobody from AT&T and MOTO had no clue what the darn thing was, i know it's only been a year since it's birth, but let's just wait to see if it comes out this month like they usualy do, after all they said it will be released in the 2nd quarter of the year. and if they dont r...

On the Hellomoto.com website, it USED to says that the V635 will be release during the 2nd HALF of 2005. NOW, it is GONE FROM the UPCOMING Handsets list! 😳 😲
