I730 gone by Xmas
The title says it all. the phone wil be replaced by another model. They(vzw) are unhappy with the BT profiles and you wanna know what else (the piracy is scaring them) go figure after Kazaa won their lawsuit. The next model now don't quote it i790 won't have anything but BT headset and the normal VZW BT profiles. Just letting you know take it for what it's worth coming from midwest area president. You want to know who it is ask.

A little more information would be nice. What is wrong with the BT profiles in the current phone, and what does it have to do with piracy? It seems that no one can get BT to do what they want anyway. Will this new phone have Wi-Fi? Wouldn't any privacy issues have more to do with Windows Mobile than with this specific VZW phone? What features of this phone will remain in the i790?

I forgot to also ask, what would that mean with regards to an upgrade to the newer version of Windows Mobile?

Could you please give us a little more information about your "gone by Xmas" post. I think there are quite a few of us here who have resisted buying the phone waiting for a camera version to come up.
1)Can you give us a few more hints as to the source of your information?
2)Are you saying that the sch-i730 will be discontinued and replaced by the sch-i790?
3)From your post, it appears that the ONLY difference between the sch-i730 and the sch-i790 will be the BT profiles?
4)Do you know if the sch-i790 will have a camera?
