Hot Spot Challenge
I have had the phone for just over a week now and am really loving it. Yep, it has a few things that make me crazy, but the tradeoff of carrying one device is worth it.
My question is that I have a very hard time connecting to a wireless hotspot. Everytime I enable wireless and try to connect to the router, the Verizon service tries to dial the *777. When it can't do that, I am just stuck--can't connect to anything at that point.
I know that there was a discussion about this, but I can't seem to find it. Can anyone help with a fix?

I'm having the same problem. I'm guessing there's a setting somewhere, but I have yet to find it.

Did you enable WiFi? Settings --> Connections --> Hold the WiFi Icon --> Click on Wi-Fi Disabled to enable.

Yes, it is enabled. I can see the wireless router, but can't connect to it.

Verizon is aware that there is a problem with Wi-Fi on this phone. I had a problem with my phone the end of June and the tech that I talked to told me that it we a problem that they were working on.
