😳
...meaning, can you use bluetooth DUN from a laptop and use the phone as a wireless modem?

the specs seem to imply it isn't data capable, but I can't believe that it wouldn't be...

so anyone know if you can do this or not?

Yes and no. Verizon disabled it but people figured out how to use it as a modem via usb cable (and prolly bluetooth soon). They just don't want people to get rid of their Verizon DSL and use their phone as a modem since evdo is so fast....

According to a Verizon tech the phone is data capable but Verizon has made a business decision to not allow at this point and may never allow it to be used as a modem. Too bad. The phone is a great design. I spend at least 4,800 per year on just the cell phone account. It is my tool box. It is frustrating to say the least when Verizon takes a position like this. I will be returning the phone. I think it is time to review why I am still with Verizon. It is also my understanding that the bluetooth link to the computer has also been disabled. Shame!
