How to use a Self-Recorded "My Sound" as your own personal "custom custom ringtone"

I just happened to notice several people complain about not being able to use a self-recorded "My Sound" as a ringtone. However, I thought I'd shed some info on this very easy process to get it to work. When you get this to work, i'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with it. First thing I did was record myself mimicking a default ringtone from the phone. and when i got this to work, and someone called me, all of my friends were busting out laughing so hard. You need to purchase a data cable. You can purchase any VX6100/VX7000/VX8000 data cable off ebay. make sure you buy a data cable that has the little black box in the middle of the cable. thats the kind i got. I purchased one that was Buy It Now for 50 cents with $6 shipping. It works perfectly fine.

You can download QPST by searching google. Search for "QPST2_7" you should be able to find a download.

it goes into your My Sounds Folder, which is the same as when you record a new MySound/VoiceMemo. Just do the same procedure by pulling the file out of that folder directory, and then inserting it back into the correct folder for usable ringtones.
