Battery Recall
Just wanted to let everyone know that both me and my friend went to VZ and they exchanged our 8100 batteries no qestions asked for free. I was getting less than an hour of talk time b4, now it works great.

Doesn't mean that there is a recall on the battery , they probably just swapped you out under 1 year warranty. But good to know that you got a new one and hopefully the new one works better.

the warranty on the battery doesn't cover the whole price of the battery. 0-3 months its free. 3-9 months it's 50% off. 9-12 months it's 25% off. After that you gotta buy another one. Now there is a specific model of LG standard size batteries that are to be swapped under warranty for free no matter how old they are. I'm not going to post exactly which one, but if you're not getting good battery life just take it to your local store.
