MP3 w/o SD card?

i was wondering if i could use my mp3 player with out a memory card? i have the data cable and it works fine ive transfeered ringtones and pictures fine but i was wondering how i get real mp3's on my phone?

Unfortunately no. To use the MP3 player you must have a card.

I have saved 1 song to my phone, but that's all it would hold the other 3 songs I put on my phone went to the 512 SD card. yours may be different I got my phone on Jan 16th, when the new model came out. I used the essential kit. The songs on my phone are from my own CD's, not VCast Music Store.

if you got the phone before jan 16, you dont have the correct software to allow you to save songs to the phone. With version 7 you can save to the phone. but then you get into the whole issue with the mp3 player and mp3's versus wma's
