Headphones for Mp3 listening?

Just got the 8100, great phone, Mp3 player is awesome (have a 1 gig Sandisk card, works perfectly), and now I have a question. I want to get headphones for the phone, and I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions? Had the Motorola ones, and they did not work at all (maybe I had a bad pair, muddy sound, or loss of vocals etc.). Can anyone offer any suggestions? Also, any advice on the media center-how to control etc (for example, can you shuffle the songs multiple times, rearrange them, view by artist etc. like iTunes) would be appreciated! 😁

As far as headphones go, I bought the Jabra stereo headphones from Verizon and they work awesome. Surround sound, loud and super clear. As far as your other question, not to my knowledge, but if someone knows different, please advise.

Also remember that the plug has to have a special size and configuation to enable you to talk and listen to stereo. Yes, the Jabra works well.

you can do shuffle, but there aren't any options to sort any way but alphabetical. also no options to set up playlists which i kinda hoped for. with the mp3 player on open the phone and cycle through play options with the right soft key to get shuffle mode.

i'm gonna try the headphones that the new iTunes phone comes with. Supposily they're real headphones to listen to music with and they also have a mic to talk into.

The Jabras are real music headphones too, and they also have a mic to talk into.

There is an official LG headset for use with the VX8100 - it's on backorder with most companies, however it retails for $10 - $15 on most websites (vs. $40 for Jabra at Verizon).

I'm waiting on my pair (backordered). Anyone have them that can lend an opinion on this one vs. the Jabra or plantronics?

Got the Jabra that Mary recommended, and it works great. I still am on the hunt for an adapter, since I have a plug in my car for my iPod, and in a pinch I'd love to be able to plug my phone into that.

Got mine yesterday and they are exponentially better than the ones that I had previously. Now I know why people such as Mary always said that they could only play their songs at the second line. I always had to play mine at full blast and they were still not loud enough if there was any noise near me. Not anymore these are really nice.
