I know this has been asked a million bajillion times, but...

...I'm still having a problem with the volume in the earpiece fluctauting. Anyone else still having the problem? And I have had the update.

I have the volume on High and sometimes it's still so low that I can't hear.

I still have the fluctuating volume problem. Went back to my 8000 😎. I use the 8100 solely as an mp3 player right now. Waiting for ANOTHER update. LOL 🤣

It will be fixed on the next software fix. This came from a LG Tech I know personally.

Yes!! Thanks! I called my Verizon Store yesterday and they said they weren't aware of the problem and that no one had mentioned it to them. I asked if i should call LG and was told "yes".

I called LG and asked them if that had been brought to their attention yet and the guy said they didn't know about it either, but that he would log it in.

Go figure...

But it's nice to know that it's going to be fixed. I guess it's all in who you talk to!

How do you get a hold of someone at LG like that? I'd love to give them some of my input too. I'm not being nasty. I really would like to talk to someone. Thanks.

Oh, sure, the Customer Service number is on LG's website. I'd give it to you, but I have it stored on my phone and my battery is dead.

Which is another problem...my phone was fully charged this morning and I made one 15 minute phone call and sent one text message. It was down to 2 bars by 11:00, it's now 2:00 p.m. and the phone is dead!

Anyone else having this problem as well?

Piggys,
Thank you. I can wait for the number. That is really bad about the battery! That drives me crazy! I have tried to do everything I can to make my battery last as long as I can. I have turned everything off that drains the battery...I think. These things should last for 4 or 5 days with regular usage. Not a day or two!!

I've got the number for you: 1-800-793-8896.

Yeah, about the battery - I don't know what the f is up with that! I've never had my battery to have "great" battery life. However, today has been weird!

My battery went from fully charged @ 8:00 this morning to dead as a doornail by 2:00 this afternoon. I could understand if I had been on the phone the whole time, but I wasn't. I talked on the phone for no longer than 15 minutes and tried to send a text message (but it wouldn't send).

Yeah, so....hmmmm... 😕

Piggys,
I seem to remember something about what you just said. I may be having a brain fart ( I do alot) but I thought I saw someone had a problem like you did and it was because the text mess kept re-sending or kept trying all day or something like that and of course it killed the battery. I may be dreaming but I thought I saw that a while ago. Give that shot and see what you find. The text mess you mentioned kind of rung a bell for some reason. I hope I did not just send you off chasing a ghost but good luck and thanks for the number!

Thanks!! I hope that works, too! I'm also going by my Verizon Wireless store to have them test my battery.

Another odd thing, the service around where I work (within a very small area around where I work) has been junk today! Even though my phone showed a signal, none of my calls would connect until I was about a mile away (or maybe less). Maybe it was going haywire!

That may do it too. If the phone is looking for a signal it may be using up power to do it. 😕

Oh, and when you call, choose option 4 (for Customer Support).
