Your card reader should be compatible w/ the card
They are several makers of cards and card readers. I believe that some of these problems maybe attributed to that. If you have a SanDisk card your best bet is to get a SanDisk card reader same if you have a PNY, Lexar or what have you.

Yeah, I have a SanDisk 256MB card with a SanDisk Mobile Mate reader (it's neato!).

I have the exact same... pretty easy to use took me more time to figure out that the little loop went the cap so that you could put it on your keyring. 🤣

Yeah, I got ALL upset last night b/c I used it @ my boyfriend's house (testing it) and it worked but when I got home, it kept saying it was write-protected. It took me a LONG time to figure out that it has a little slider piece (on the SD adapter) that "locks" the card and keeps anything from being written to and erased from the card. I figured it out by going on SanDisk's website.
Hey, it was late and I was tired - I'm just glad I figured it out!

Ew! I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about either of the things you have. You may even want to contact the manufacturers to see if they can help. If not, I'd take them back and tell the store they aren't compatible.

I agree...theres a high probability that it's a compatibilty issue. You seem to be working w/ three diffrent types there. Its just my guess that the phone will get optimal performance w/ a SanDisk since its the trademark on the mini disc access door.
