Scala and Logitech

I know there has been a lot of talk about the scala headset but I had a few questions before I purchased. I was wondering what options it has. Mainly I was wondering if you can switch over to an incoming call. I purchased the Logitech Freedom which works really well, heads above the motorolas, but it does not have the capability to answer incoming calls. Also has the scala worked well so far for those who have used it? Thanks!

I have the Scala and it has the option to transfer calls. I use it whenever I'm in the car and it's great. Clarity is nice on both ends, although it will start to get staticky about 20ft from phone. It fits comfortably and stays on my ear, not like the motos I've tried. The only thing that stinks is the useless holster, but with the Scala being so inexpensive, you can afford to buy a different holster somewhere else. Overall, I highly recommend the Scala. Hope this helps.

I tried the Freedom for two days. No problem with incoming calls. No call waiting. I have used the Scala for since Tuesday. Great reception and clarity both excellent on both ends. Answers incoming calls but haven't checked CW. Probably not. Only bad feature is having to reconnect if out of range or phone or Scala gets turned off. No big deal, tap Voice Command. All-in-all this is the best I have used, (1-HS850, elcellent voice command - rarely misses, low volume, ran dead without warning. 2-Jabra 250 & 250V, excellent sound but voice command couldn't read anything after 2 or 3 days. 3-Plantronics M2500, same thing with voice command. At this point had VZW check phone, hardware & software. OK. They couldn't figure it out either. 4-Mobile Fre...

I must be the only one having problems with the Scala. If all conditions are perfect, if I'm sitting in my house, with no background noise, etc., then the Scala sounds acceptable to the person on the other end as well as to me. If I'm in my car, people complain about the noise from the a/c, etc. I find this ironic, because on the Carda website they tout the Scala's ability to block wind noise. They go so far as to show pictures of people in convertibles using the headset. It won't even work well when I'm standing outside, let alone in the wind.

There's no warning when the battery is low, and I found out the hard way that the headsets ability to interact with voice command deteriorates rapidly when the battery is only a little low - n...

Maybe you have a bad unit. Exchange it. I am on 5th day and still going. Recharged phone once, but using V-Cast and messing with phonebook.
