SOMEONE IS LYEING!
Okay I went to the store tech support to get my camera delay fixed and the tech support representative told me that ALL VX8100 HAVE BUILT - IN 1 sec camera delay 😳 Then he opened up brand new vx8100 and we took some pix with it and IT TOO HAD A DELAY.......
So if Mary424 claims that her vx8100 doesn't have a delay and tech support rep at Verizon store says ALL VX8100 have a delay that means someone is lieng...
I dunno who I'd rather believe: a tech support rep at Verizon store or some person posting on a forum...

I think the people on this forum have no reason to lie, whereas vzw tech reps can have any number of reasons to lie, for example..... 😲
* too lazy to fix problem
* trying to cover up a serious issue
* doesn't know his head from his elbow

Why would I lie about a camera delay? If I had it, wouldn't I too want to know why? How to fix it, etc.? Most people that are experiencing a delay keep talking about taking a pic, seeing the freeze frame, and having the pic be of something right after, well, I have tested this out so much to try and find a delay on mine and I even started spelling the alphabet in sign language, taking pics of my hand during it and the picture is on the exact letter I was on when I snapped! So I don't know, if it is there then I'm definately not noticing it and DEFINATELY NOT lieing about it.

Hey I'm with you. I can't get mine to delay either. I've taken action shots of my kids, even while I'm moving and it gets it right every time. Hey some people are just lucky . . . 🙂

I know mine has a delay. When doing the self portrait with the flip closed, I could actually see myself blink.
