okay what exactly is the deal with the mp3 player...is it non-exsistent? is it coming through get it now tones at some point,i have the phone and there is no mention is the book about mp3 player..and 512mb????is tthat bullshit to???thanks for any info?

The MP3 player doesn't work (that is to say, the forward, play, and back buttons have no use). The new Music on Demand (or MOD) will come out soon and replace the MP3 player.
The phone does have 512MB of memory alone. This memory is segmented to handle other features though (cache, pix message space, picture space, tones space, Get It Now space, etc.), so you don't have exactly 512MB of memory to play with. The phone does have a miniSD card slot though, but that's another problem altogether.
