Speakerphone Clarity Issues
I just got my 8100 and called a friend using the speaker phone. He kept asking me what that noise was and that it was very loud. It sounded clear to me, but apparently there was a great deal of ambient noise and I was not outside in the wind or in the car in direct line of an AC vent.
Is there something I was doing incorrectly and or anything I can change on the phone?

Try turning the volume down a little - assuming you had it up all the way. This worked for me.

can anyone tell me how to use the speakerphone? it's not even in the manual

hold down the clear button - notice the icon next to clear on the button. viola - speakerphone
