There are corporate discount programs.

bwright81-
1. Was your corporate discount $30.
199 with 2 year contract
100 off for NE2
50 rebate
30 dollar corporate discount.
2. I don't see the phone on my corporate website yet. Was it listed on yours or did you just call your verizon contact.

3. Was your monthly plan a reduced corporate rate.
Thanks

Frank

You must have complex issues. I'm wondering why you think you're better than other people because of the "coperate" price you paid for a phone (But then again, I don't really care). I'm only paying $30 for mine, that's only $10, yes, $10 more than you... I'm not calling everyone bitches and telling them to wipe their a$$es with a picture of my receipt now am I? G#@ forbid we joke around and have a little fun on a forum.

Just for everyone's information, I just went over and asked my bud that manages the PDX Office Max and he said that no such deal exists and it would definately not be available to store employess if it did. I also asked my friend who is a sales rep for Samsung if that sounded correct and he said that this would not be true because Verizon pays more than that for each phone and that a corporate discount would never allow the phone to fall below wholesale. He also stated that corporate cell plans are usually at max a 10-15% discount off what others pay and that the minute structures stay the same.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but corporate rates are contract free, and therefore not eligible for confentional consumer discounts such as ne2 and rebates.

You are wrong. I'm looking at my corporate site right now and it shows discounted rates based on 1 and 2 year plans. All the other discounts apply: NE2 and the rebate. Thus a price of 19.99 after all these is not impossible at all. It's only a 30 dollar corporate discount.

Nope. đŸ˜ĸ

The best you can hope for in the industry is a "dealer" line which is a discounted plan - BUT you must provide your own phone. ☚ī¸

Yes, you can. I'm not sure about your particular store, but I am an authorized agent and I get close to the same deal.

You guys might want to hold your bashing a bit.I work for a large Verizon Wireless Authorized chain here on the east coast and the price he paid is not far from what I paid.I did not have the NE2 and paid $119.99.($127.33 with tax)I also got the 2000 min for $60.00 a month. There was an offer for VCAST but it is not here yet so I passed on it.My brother in law is a mail man and can get it even cheaper with a new 2 year contract.I will post some pictures as soon as I get a chance.

ps..just thought I would post some info that might help. There is going to be a price plan change with the Family share rates. As of 7/17/05 the lowest family share plan will be raised by $10.00 changeing to $69.99 for the first two lines and $9.99 for add. lines up...

Yeah, I don't know why everyone gets so worked up about it. I get mine for around $25 after my discount. Of course, I am a Verizon Agent, so... 😛

Hey guys, I hear of some of you that have been able to purchase this LG 8100. But it would be nice to know where you live to have been able to buy it. I live in Iowa, so that may be the reason I can't get it yet, but Anyone here in the Midwest been able to get one yet?

I hear ya. I actually got mine for free. My 2NE was up and the sales rep gave me that discount with an additional $50 mail in rebate. Then I wanted to get a phone for my wife and he gave me the same deal. So all i had to pay was the sales tax for both phones. So I believe you. If you ask they might just hook you up too. Later.
