Just got 8100 & HS820 - Need Headset Advice

See my other post about getting the phone.

I went ahead and picked up some accessories, including the Moto 820 BT headset. I chose this one at the recommendation of my VZW rep, who admitted she had not used the 850 for any extended period, but made her recomm. based on the ease of navigation with the 820.

Please offer up any accurate comparisons, advice, point me to reviews, etc.

Also, have put headset on charger, but not yet attempted to "sync" with phone. Any hints, tips, advice, would be greatly appreciated.

I know, this stuff is all here somewhere, but I'm so burned out from doing the phone research I would really appreciate some help in deciding whether or not I chose the right BT headset for me.

Thank you.

I have had several wired headsets over the years, and I continue to say Plantronics makes the best wired headsets I have found. The ones by Jabra did not fit as well, did not sound as well to me, and when I did side-by-side comparisons, people on the other end always said I sounded better over the Plantronics. Are the BT Jabra's THAT much better than their wired headsets?

jabra all the way. just my opinion, but i have used many different headsets and have found that any of the jabra headsets are the loudest and clearest on both ends.

I got the HS820 for my wife. Works very well. Just in case no one has seen it, it is a wireless speaker w/mic, not a headset. I clipped it on the visor and it's loud and clear. It's good for people who don't care about privacy in the car.

I have since returned the headset in question, but, regarding your post, one of us was mistaken in the model info we posted. I had been referring to the Moto 820 BT headset, not the hands free speaker you are referring to.

I thought the 820 is the speaker. It says 820 on it. I didn't realize there is a headset 820. Sorry.
