LG VX-8100
Detailed comparison: LG-8100 and Moto E815
What are the key feature differences? I saw the 512meg but wasn't impressed - saving huge numbers of photos isn't a big deal and draining my phone to listen to music seems a bad use of the battery (cool concept though if batteries greatly improve.)
I am mostly interested in the calendar and phonebook features, as well as the ability to sync. For instance, the Moto has 1000 name phone book, but each email, home, cell, and ot...

The LG 8100 is as bad if not worse then then the LG 6100.

What about all the complaints about echo. How can you make a comparison to a phone not even out yet? I have a LG6000 and reception is not really super but very good.
I can make that statement because I've already had the chance to test the LG 8100. And although not terrible not close to the call quality< and reception< as the E815. I like LG phones but once you use a phone like the Motorola 710 or E815 you don't know what you are missing with CLARITY. >>
What about how contacts are stored? When LG says it has 500 contacts in the phone book, does that mean 500 phone numbers or that one contact could have multiple numbers (cell, office, etc.)?

Reception explained by CS VZW tech: It is based on the amount of each particular phone at the time the call is placed and the relation of the tower. Ex: if 100 Lg's place a call near tower X and 50 Moto's place a call near tower X at 10:00am, then the Moto stands a chance at better reception. Each phone has it's own chipset. Personally, I think there are more LG's around then Moto's. That could be the reason for better reception. This is how it was explained to me. I personally have never owned a Moto, but plan on picking up 815 and checking for myself.
That would be a smart move on your part!
