Has anyone noticed the inconsistency of this document? If you download the External Photos under the Exhibit Type, it listed as a Tri-Mode Dual-Band w/Bluetooth Phone. Unless there is an error, isn't this phone supposed to be a digital only phone? Can anyone confirm this? If it has tri-mode, EVDO/VCast w/BT, I'll definitely will get one and try it out.

This same question came up earlier and everyone seemed convinced at the time that the phone is not trimode in the sense of having analog in addition to the two digital bands. It was never clear to me exactly what "trimode" means in the sense in which it is used in the literature you're referring to.

I don't think there's analog coverage on this phone, not that I could get any of my phones to work on analog anyway.

This phone is an All Digital handset. As far as i am aware all the EVDO phones will be.

i guess in a way it operates on three bands. 850 digital, 1900 digital, and whatever the hell evdo is. no analog for sure though. same as another post, i heard they won't be making any trimodes with analog capacity.
