D500 video capabilities

I have read that D500 can record video up to 60 mins. Though, from what i have read, the video format that it supports is MPEG-4. Most phones on the market record videos in 3GP format. So my QUESTION is... Is D500 capable of receiving and playing 3GP format video clips from other phones? Can i send a video clip that i have recorded from my D500 to another phone?

It's either MPEG4 or H263, similar, but the file extension is .3GP and you can Bluetooth or IrDA them in and out, so you're good to go Stephanos. 😁
