I keep seeeing this auctions on ebay for 'links' to getting this phone for free, what the hell is that there selling, here's a link

The links are to websites where the phone prices are drastically cut, however there is a waiting list. Generally, the phones are around $40 after you buy their complimentary CD or blue tooth dongle. check it out for yourself:
