Samsung SGH-E315
Need a bit of E315 Help
I just received my e315 but not completely thrilled with it. Maybe that will change over the next few days ... in any event I could use a little assistance.
I formerly used a bar phone and like the idea of accepting or rejecting a call as I pleased. On the e315 every time I open the phone (when it rings) it is a automatic answer. Is there a way to turn this feature off? I do not use any key answer so that is set to the disabled tab. But I truly dislike opening the phone when it is ringing and being forced to answer it.
My other problem is the volume of the phone. I do not use a headset just the actual phone and I can hardly hear anyone. I adjust it while talking to the person with no real success.

if you go to settings, then phone settings, go to extra settings and then make sure the anykey answer box is checked. i had the same problem but i fixed it. hope this helps.

Hi! Go to settings, phone settings, extra settings, and then unmark the active folder box. This should let you accept or reject a call when you open the phone. As for the volume the only way I know how to make it louder is the way you do it by using the side keys. Hope some of this helps. 😁

The active folder is actually the flip of the phone. I don't think it does anything else. If you activate the folder that is when it automatically answers when you open the "folder."
